The Christian and Missionary Alliance exists as outreach-oriented denominations of churches in various countries. The Russia Field of the Alliance is administered by the U.S. C&MA.
Alliance workers in Russia are invited by registered Russian religious organizations with whom we work in partnership. These partners are groups of churches that have a passion for spreading the Good News of Christ and seeing healthy congregations opened throughout the country. Some of these partners also support missionaries working outside of Russia’s borders.
Alliance missionaries currently live and work in seven key cities of Russia. Many ministries are focused upon the planting and growth of churches. Others include theological education, small business development, collaboration in camping ministries and rehabilitation centers, and creative outreach and service through meeting felt needs and interests of people in these cities. In each of these ministries, Alliance staff work side-by-side with Russian pastors and leaders committed to the sharing of the Gospel, growth of churches, and serving of needs in their country.
